SUMMARY:
- Starting Rate: $24.00/Hour.

Komar/Maren Engineering is an industry leading recycling baler manufacturer located in South Holland, Illinois. Since 1962, Maren Balers and Shredders has manufactured the world’s best balers and shredders. Our balers handle high volumes of material with low labor inputs creating high quality and quantity recycled materials.
We are seeking an organized Warehouse and Inventory Control Specialist who is responsible for varied daily tasks such as restocking shelves, accepting incoming orders, distributing inventory to designated areas, processing and packing orders, counting inventory, and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner.
The candidate should possess a mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills. This position is Monday thru Friday only. No weekends, nights, or holidays required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Unload deliveries from trucks.
- Receive and sign-for deliveries.
- Compare purchase orders with packaging lists on all incoming packages.
- Inspect deliveries to ensure items match the order.
- Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
- Organize and store received items in appropriate areas.
- Update inventory and Bill of Materials with received items.
- Maintain records of orders, delivery details, etc.
- Record order details on the computer system.
- Pull all parts on Sales Order from stock or add to computer system shortage list.
- Pack items into containers, i.e. small packages or pallets, for shipping.
- Label package with all vital information.
- Schedule shipment pickups via UPS, Fedex, or approved Freight Carrier.
- Monitor inventory and order more units as needed.
- Keep the warehouse clean and neat.
- Forklift experience highly recommended.

- Computer skills including basic word, excel spreadsheets and email with the ability to learn Maren internal software for parts and Bills of Materials.
- Provide high quality workmanship through neatness, organization, & attention to detail.

- Use time management skills to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality of work.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or relative experience and/or training for job classification.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
